What are the services like?

Our Sunday morning meetings are from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Children begin the service in the auditorium, and are dismissed for Junior Church around 10:30. We begin with prayer and congregational singing, followed by an offering, preaching, announcements, and a closing hymn. When possible, a musical special is included.

Sunday School and Bible Study groups meet from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm.

Wednesday evenings feature letters from our missionaries, followed by a short devotional, then a time of prayer in small groups. Our meetings begin at 7:00 pm, and typically last an hour. Youth group and Kids4Truth Club also meet at this time.

What should I wear?

We do not have a “dress code” for our service — we believe that the condition of the heart is more important than the clothing we wear — but clothing that is generally considered inappropriate is discouraged. Everything from jeans and t-shirts to jackets and ties appear in our weekly meetings.

What kind of music do you have?

Our music is traditional in nature, with hymns filling the bulk of our collection. Contemporary hymns and other songs of worship also have their place in our service, both in congregational singing and times of musical ministry. We would describe our worship service as a “blended worship” style.

Will childcare be available during the meetings?

Childcare is always available during the Sunday morning service, and often during other meetings as well. If you’re planning a visit on a Wednesday evening, children can attend Kids4Truth Club or explore our nursery.

What translation of the Bible do you use?

We recognize that there are a variety of translations of the Bible that many people use. However, during our services and teaching times, we teach from the King James Version (KJV), New King James Version (NKJV), and/or the King James Version Easy Reader (KJVer).

Parking

Priority parking is located on South River Street, alongside the church building. These spots are reserved for people with disabilities or who otherwise have difficulty walking.

The main parking lot is located behind the building, and is only accessible via River Street. Immediately after passing the church on South River Street, turn left onto Holly Lane. The parking lot is at the end of Holly Lane.
